Hi, I’m Erika. Peru Collective Journeys & Arts is my small, personal travel studio — built on two decades of experience, creativity, honest advice, and a deep love for this country: its people, its culture, its living heritage.
Travel has always felt like magic to me. Not the postcard kind — the real kind. The moment a stranger becomes a friend. The first bite of something you can’t pronounce. The silence of the Andes at 6 a.m. The sound of the rain. The flavors. That cold that somehow feels different.
For over two decades I’ve worked in high-end inbound travel in Peru: in hotels, in tailor-made trip design, and even building the marketing department of one of Peru’s leading DMCs from scratch. That last one taught me how travelers actually think, what they hope for, and where the industry so often misses the mark.
It also taught me the most important lesson of my career: it’s not what you sell — it’s how. Selling Peru with heart means being honest, appealing to the senses, leaving room for surprise, and making sure travelers feel so taken care of that their only job is to enjoy.
So when I finally tried to step away from tourism, the truth caught up with me fast: I couldn’t stop talking about Peru. Instead of resting, I started Peru Collective Journeys & Arts.
How I did it
This marked the beginning of a transformative journey for me. It was the year I embraced travel and storytelling, combining my passion for exploration with my love of creative expression. From that point on, I’ve been capturing moments, crafting narratives, and sharing experiences that inspire and connect people around the world.
I took my storytelling to new heights by launching my own creative platform. This year was all about refining my craft, connecting with fellow travelers, and sharing more in-depth narratives. It became a pivotal moment in turning my passion for travel and writing into a full-fledged journey of inspiration.
This was the year I expanded my horizons, taking my travel experiences to a global scale. I ventured into new territories, both physically and creatively, exploring diverse cultures and deepening my storytelling. This year solidified my commitment to turning every adventure into a meaningful narrative that inspires and connects people worldwide.
